Sarah Waters, Tipping the Velvlet & Fingersmith!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Read fingersmith, I can definitely recommend that one. Haven't read tipping the velvet, however seen both movies...I prefered the fingersmith movie to the book. I felt like there should have been more to the book.
I don't know if anyone agrees with me. But I think fried green tomatoes at the whistle stop cafe makes a nice lesbian novel. It was my first. I loved it. the books way better than the movie. I recommend it! _________________ Relationship Status: Single T_T

Hi!
I recently found quite an emotional and powerful story (and the sex isn't bad ) on ebooks-online.com by a new, independant author called Kim Baxter called It's My Life. I guess if you had a tough time at school you can relate to the main character pretty well.
I agree with everyone else re Tipping The Velvet, I hate period stories but that is amazing.
