Wow, that teacher should have been fired and worse, and especially not allowed to work with kids! oh, I almost cried reading your story, I'm glad it helped to fuel you determination but I really felt for you! From one adoptie to another
Peace, sister you are awesome!

{{{{{{{{{Ellen}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Thank you for pointing me towards this. You have so much to be proud of. You have overcome so many obstacles and proved your strength and determination each time.

Reading this I have learnt a lot myself, and I thank you for that. I rarely use the term disabled, preferring instead differently abled. That definitely is one that can be used to describe you. You may learn slower, or differently from some others.. but that same difference has taught you strength, courage, determination, persistance... all things that will get you a lot further in this world than anything you could learn at school... and those qualities are things you could never learn in conventional ways.

Well done Ellen, you truly have earnt everything you have achieved. Walk proud, because you have earnt that right too. Keep speaking out and don't let any put you down... you're right, no one is better than you.

Exclamation hugs from a very humbled DG

I've always been a big believer in, "What goes around, comes around." And this is the perfect example. You've worked hard, you have great willpower and determination and it has reflected in your achievements.

And where's that miserable old bag? Probably still doing the same thing with the same sour look on her face. (Sorry about the harshness, those types of people really get my back up).
