I heard "Monster" is an awesome movie with a lesbian couple, though it's a thriller/horror, Charlize Theron did a magnificent job with this role.

Monster was an incredibly sad movie to watch. Hard to call it a "good" movie, but compelling and emotional - definitely. They both (Theron & Ricci) did wonderful jobs. Sad part is that it was based on a true story.

A movie that I really enjoyed was "Being John Malkovich." Not a lesbian story, but it did have a homosexual twist. The whole thing was done really well, story and acting, and it was just a really awesome movie to watch.

Being John Malkovich really is excellent, isn't it? I loved it. And up until then, I hadn't liked Cameron Diaz cos she seemd like just the next buxom blonde man candy to me til I saw her in BJM and i loved her in it. Since then, I've liked her in everything I've seen her in.

I recently saw a godawful movie with a Lesbian angle called "Gray Matters", in which a brother and sister (named Gray) both fall for the same woman. It sounds like it could be good, but it so wasn't. Despite one really nice kiss, there wasn't a believeable scene or line in the entire movie. it belongs on the piece-of-crap scrapheap with Imagine Me @ You.

My favorites, in no special order:

LESBIAN
----------
But I'm A Cheerleader
D.E.B.S.
Fire
Aimee @ Jaguar
Better Than Chocolate
Lost @ Delirious
Loving Annabelle
If These Walls Could Talk 2
My Summer Of Love
When Night Is Falling

TRANS
---------------
Ma Vie En Rose
Soldier's Girl
Stage Beauty
The Crying Game
Boys Don't Cry

GOOD BUT NOT GREAT LESBIAN
-----------------------------------
In Passing
Chutney Popcorn

BLOODY AWFUL
---------------------
Gray Matters
Imagine Me @ You
Girl Talk

STRAIGHT BUT GREAT
-------------------------
Love Me If You Dare (Jeux D'enfants)

Basic coming of age story, but I especially liked Alexander Dahlstrom in it. Idea

Desert Hearts is definitely in there.

Also Joanna Trollope's 'A Village Affair'.

Enjoyed 'if these walls could talk 2' - particularly second story, Michelle Williams was captivating....

'When night is falling' too.

WHEN NIGHT IS FALLING!!!!

I absolutely loved that movie! My all time favourite! Beautiful classical music, great cinamatography, ending with Leonard Cohens " hallaluha" .
A must see!!

Petra; "Camille... I'd love to see you by the pale moonlight with your head thrown back and your body on fire..."

I loved that movie sooo much I named one of my hens after Camille.

"Camille..it sounds like come here.."

Camille; " That was uncalled for..I'm nobodies fool" As Petra admits to doing a "switcharoo" with her laundry just so she could see her again.

Petra says to Camille as she tries to convince her to go paragliding but Camille is very afraid. " Fear is the price you pay for adventure"

Camille injures her knee and Petra puts the moves on her, massaging her knee. Camille says it hurts. Petra says it helps if you swear. Camille a Christian school teacher who teaches Greek mythology says, " It hurts like a f***"....Smile

Very proud to say that it was filmed in Canada. (Toronto)
Yay Canada!

I'm going to watch that movie again when I get home from work tonight.

The Hunger - 1983 - w/ Susan Sarandon

It's a vampire tale with a lesbian twist ... probably the first movie I saw (around 15 years or so ago) that had me really start to question things. Not a great movie, but interesting.

Angelina Jolie in Foxfire ! It's not a complete lesbian flick but does touch on the awakening of a young woman's feelings for another. also has the breakthrough performance not only for Angelina Jolie but also for Jenny Shimizu!

Yep, I love "Foxfire", I bought a copy. That's when Angelina was SOOOOOO TDF, before she started snapping up babies all over the globe and trying to see how straight she can be by tomorrow afternoon.

Yes, it is fantastic.

Excellent cinematography, script and acting...for the most part.

I Can't Think Straight is another movie by the same director with same leading actresses (OMG, they are beautiful). It wasn't really that good...it could have been. But it's still worth a watch.

I've just watched World Unseen as well, good movie, definately a lot more going on the in the storyline than just a lesbian romance and the acting was more natural.

However, i like I can't think straight more than Suze, just coz it's cute and the one who plays the arab character is hot....Very Happy in fact...so is her younger sister...hehe...

I'm not sure, but has a movie called Affinity been mentioned? I heard it's an awesome lesbian movie, haven't seen it myself though and no idea what it's about. Lol.

Fucking Åmål is GREAT! Watched it just resently.
