Saying Hello

I thought I would stop in and say hello and tell you a little about myself. I am 47 years old (for at least a little while longer) and I live in North Carolina. I am currently an author-in-waiting (the novel is almost finished) and a college professor. I have been writing stories, prose, and poetry for as long as I can remember.

If there is anything else you would like to know, do not hesitate to ask.

Hi LadyProf,

Welcome to Mels! We have several professors around here and many, many writers, so you should feel right at home. Congrats on the almost-finished novel! Do you teach writing or another discipline?

Great to see a new member intro Lady Prof Very Happy

Things have been a little quiet on the stories front here of late but I recommend your looking through the back catalogue - some amazing writers on this site. Good luck with the novel and hope to see your around the boards or in the Chat lobby at some stage.

Hello Lady Prof,
Great to make your "acquaintance!"

MG is right, there are some outstanding writers who have submitted to the story boards. Perhaps you will provide us with the opportunity to read some of your works.

Hope to see you around chat...

Welcome!
