Ok, this is an interesting mental trip you wandered down. First off, the names are in Chaldea or Hebrew, and Abel is in reference to the "el" of god. Cain and Abel were twins with different fathers, and since Lucifer knew God's plan of redemption for the lost souls, he needed to overthrow it and take away that option.

Cain was cursed, and his children changed names several times from Kenites to Rechabites (2 Chronicles 2:55) and finally melded into the house of Judah in Jeremiah 35. Jesus (Yeshua) boldly proclaimed who they were, and was calling them out saying you are of your father, guilty from the blood of Zacharius on the Portico of Solomon to the blood of Abel. They killed him for it.

"In the beginning was the word" is from the New Testament. The Old Testament. In the new testiment the word "word" in Greek is either "Logos" or "Rhema". Logos is the simple written word, while Rhema is the revealed word. It is the difference between reading a passage verses having some inner spiritual light of revelation from that passage revealed and watching it grow in rich soil tilled by rightly dividing the word of God. Those of the Islamic faith do not claim any adherance to the Torah, Tanach, Old Testament or New Testament. They adher to the Koran.

Your point of "I Can" verses "I am able" is an interesting thought, but nothing matters if the heart is not focused on Agape or unconditional love. Faith, hope and love, the greatest is love. The only real lesson one needs to learn to evolve spiritually into a true state of grace is that of selfless love. The first shall be last and the last shall be first was said for a reason. The meek inherit the earth, not the proud and haughty.

All the lessons of love stem from giving of self rather than acting in fear and taking what one desires. I shall not labor in this any longer but to say, may God's love and light shine upon you, and give you peace.
